This blog provides a space for discussion of specific strategies and methods to enhance access to, and usability of, primary archaeological research content. It also provides updates on developments to Open Context, an open data publication and archiving system.
Through early 2011, this blog featured progress and findings of an NEH-funded project led by the Alexandria Archive Institute and the ISD Program at the School of Information at UC Berkeley, exploring user needs in the digital humanities. Thus, all pre-2011 posts are related to that specific project. Visit the project page to read about its outcomes.
